🇪🇸¡Este Spiel va a ser la caña! Lo de The White Castle tiene pinta de ser algo único y epiquísimo, con su lanzamiento mundial multi editorial. Además, hay muchos buenos juegos este año, de sello español y de mayor calidad que en 2022. Por si fuera poco, sabemos ya tooodo lo que va a enseñar Devir para el 2024 (ya estamos currando en ellos). Tenemos en total unos 10-12 títulos acabados en los que hemos trabajado y que se lanzarán en esta feria (nacionales e internacionales). La pena enorme, es que todo eso nos lo perderemos en directo y lo veremos en diferido. Nuestro pico de trabajo máximo es Agosto y Septiembre, trabajando en mucho de lo que se lanza en Octubre, así que hemos decidido parar un poco y no estaremos en Alemania. Esto no quita que tengamos nuestra publicación anual sobre Hype lúdico.

🇬🇧This Spiel will be the bomb! Everything surrounding The White Castle will be unique and quite epic due to its international release in various languages. Moreover, there are many good Spanish games releasing this year, with an improved quality regarding to 2022. If that wasn’t enough, we already know the titles Devir will hype for 2024 (we are already working on them). This year we have worked on about 10-12 games that will be announced at the convention, both nationals and internationals. It is a shame we won’t be able to enjoy it live, but we’ll keep our eyes open online. Our peak workload is definitely August and September precisely for the things to be launched in October, yet this year we have decided to get some rest afterwards and won’t be going to Germany. However, this doesn’t mean we won’t have our post about the most hyped games releasing at this convention.

🇪🇸Nos da un poco de pena, por no vivir en nuestras carnes el rotundísimo y aplastante éxito que va a tener The White Castle de nuestros queridos @llama_dice y del siempre ilustre @joanguardietdraws. No solo es el número 1 en la previa y será en la feria un claro ganador, es que además saldrá en todos los partners extranjeros a la vez, así que eso va a ser epiquísimo. Por la parte que nos toca también nos hubiera encantado ver el ambiente alrededor de otros de nuestros trabajos como 3 Ring Circus, Witchcraft!, Gluons... La cosa va a estar reñida este año por otros abrumadores y reputados títulos como Barcelona, Satori y Amritsar. Y eso hablando de conocidos porque, como ya sabéis, nos encanta usar esta feria para encontrar joyazas no mainstream. Ahora bien ¿Cuál o cuáles son vuestros juegos más esperados del Spiel 2023?

🇬🇧We are a sad for not being able to live the amazing release and success The White Castle will have at the Spiel, together with the designers @llama_dice and the greatest illustrator @joanguardietdraws. It’s not only about the fact of being number 1 on the preview list and that will be a definitive winner, but all languages (including other international partners) will be released at the same time and that will be epic for sure. We would have very much enjoyed the energy surrounding other games we have worked on such as 3 Ring Circus, Witchcraft!, Gluons...The result for the best release will, however, be tight due to games such as Barcelona, Satory and Amritsar. And this without even considering the non-mainstream games, which we very much enjoy exploring as well. What are your most expected games this year?

🇪🇸 Con Bitoku nos estrenamos diseñando los bombazos estrella del @spiel_messe para Devir. Hoy día el 85% de la vitrina y los juegos de Devir que se presentan en el Spiel pasan por nuestras cabezas y ordenadores. Esto lo decimos con absoluto orgullo porque estar en la mirada de todo el mundo (hablamos de jugones, editoriales y el resto de aficionados a los juegos) no es poca cosa. Pero también tiene el handicap de estar siempre buscando nuevas soluciones creativas para estar ahí, en el top, tanto si hacemos diseño gráfico como ilustración. Es un reto, pero haber trabajado en Bitoku, Luna Capital, Lacrimosa, Winter, Bamboo, Blind Business, Ierusalem, 3 Ring Circus y White Castle es una jodi** pasada. Por eso hoy, a tan pocos días del Spiel 2023, os subimos una foto de ese Bitoku que tan buenas partidas nos ha dado. Si sois fans como nosotros, no os perdáis su expansión: Resutoran.

🇬🇧 We started designing for Devir with Bitoku, which was a success at the @spiel_messe and we now work on about 85% of the games Devir presents each year at the convention. We cannot be but proud of being in the sight of everyone (we are talking both about the vivid players and editorials) and that’s not a trivial matter. The only handicap this has is that we always need to seek for new creative solutions to be on top of everything when it comes to graphic design and illustrations. It is definitely a challenge, but having worked on Bitoku, Luna Capital, Winter, Bamboo, Blind Business, Ierusalem, 3 Ring Circus and White Castle is fuc*** nuts. That’s why today, when we’re just a few days away from the Spiel 2023, we are sharing with you this shot, to remember all the fun plays we’ve had so far. 🇪🇸Este año hemos cambiado el trabajo por unas merecidas, largas y lejanas vacaciones, así que no estaremos en el Spiel Essen- Ohhhhh - 🙁 . Igualmente, como cada año, queremos saber de nuestros lectores (si es que alguien nos lee) los gustos lúdicos de la feria de juegos de mesa más grande del mundo. Primero de todo, tenemos curiosidad real sobre vuestros favoritos del @spiel_messe 2022. Nosotros seguimos disfrutando mucho del Lacrimosa, Scout, nos encantó Flowar, Khora y el que parece fue el gran laureado del año pasado: Revive. Aún nos queda hacer un hueco para grandes como Tiletum y Sabika. Para vosotros, ¿qué juego del Spiel 22 os sigue enamorando en cada partida?
